DOCK HOSE (Special Tube Compounds)
The standard nitrile tube compound used is a versatile polymer: suitable for use with a wide range of chemicals and oil products with an aromatic content not exceeding 40%.
Unleaded Gasoline: The aromatic content of unleaded gasoline is known to be as high as 55%. This tube compound specifically for this product which is an economical and proven alternative to the sophisticated petro-chemical hoses usually recommended for this service. All standard smooth bore dock hoses are available with the no lead compound.
The surcharge is 5% of the standard coupled hose price with the exception of types 5185, 5187/A, and 5128/2M which are supplied with the no lead compound as a standard lining at no additional cost.
Hoses with this special tube compound are branded as being suitable for use with unleaded gasoline.
Viton: The versatility of dock hoses may be greatly enhanced by the addition of a layer of Viton in the tube.
SWAGED ON FITTINGS FOR O.S.& D. HOSE
In addition to furnishing built in nipples, Rubber Corporation of America has the capability of furnishing swaged on fittings for all of our oil service hose 3" I.D. through 12" I.D. These type fittings are applied at the factory and are swaged to the hose and as an integrated unit to provide exceptional strength and holding power. We welcome all inquiries for these type fittings.

LOW TEMPERATURE

Lightweight flexible hose for reel service fueling and defueling, handling aviation gasoline or jet fuels. Excellent low temperature flexibility. Hose Assemblies are hydrostatically tested and certified. Tested to 275 PSI.

GENERAL STEAM HOSE

250 WIRE BRAID STEAM HOSE
For cleaning, heat control, fire prevention, purging, thawing, blowing-out service, steam pumps and hoists in open-end or permanent installation operations. Used in refineries, shipyards, chemical plants, steel mills, foundries and heavy industrial applications.
